Removing and installing (replacing) control
unit for Car Access System

Important!

Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim panel for pedal assembly.

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Important!

Carefully unlock and disconnect associated plug connection
for ribbon cable (1).

Replace ribbon cable (1) if

plug connection for ribbon cable (1) is damaged

control unit for Car Access System (3) is replaced

The ribbon cable leads to the ignition starter switch.

Release screw (4) and remove control unit for Car Access
System (3) in direction of arrow.
