Removing and installing/replacing drive unit
for head restraint height adjustment on left or
right front seat (comfort seat)
Warning!
Note airbag safety instructions!
Incorrect handling may result in triggering of active head
restraint and thereby cause injury.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove both rear panels on front seat backrest.
•
Remove front head restraint.
•
Disconnect and cover battery negative lead.
Pull backrest cover (1) in direction of arrow over metal lugs (2)
and detach.
If necessary, detach backrest cover (1) on both sides from
backrest frame.
