Replacing fuel metering unit on high-pressure
pump (N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory of DDE control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove acoustic cover at front
Note:
Installation location: under intake air manifold.
Unlock and disconnect plug.
Release screws (1).
Remove metering unit.
Tightening torque 13 51 1AZ.
Clean sealing faces of metering unit.
Note:
Check stored fault messages.
Now clear the fault memory.
