Removing and installing/replacing manifold
(N43, N46T)
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove engine cover
N43 only: Remove manifold cooling duct
Remove underbody protection
Remove and install complete exhaust system
Remove oxygen sensors.
Release nuts on retaining plate.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 18 20 1AZ
Remove exhaust-gas recirculation line (1).
Tightening torque 11 61 4AZ
