Surface damaged
Cause of damage could be:

Cover sheet torn out too hard
and/or on one side due to incorrect
handling.
(recognisable from the torn safety
adhesive and by the heavy droop
on one side).
Handle defective
Cause of damage could be:
-
Contour element jammed/chocked
due to incorrect loading of the
vehicle.
Forceful pulling on the cover sheet
will cause the handle to break.
Cause of damage could be:
-
Cover sheet jammed/chocked (see
"Strut bent").
Forceful pulling on the cover sheet
will cause the handle to open,
usually bending the strut in the
process.
Note:
The handle and the strut can
be replaced individually.
