Special tools required:

51 0 050
Important!
A second person must hold the rear lid (risk of injury and
damage).
Important!
When carrying out repair and adjustment work on gas spring
struts and/or the hydraulic control unit, it is essential to use
special tool 51 0 050 in place of the gas spring strut or
hydraulic cylinder.
Remove gas spring strut or hydraulic cylinder.
