5 Series E61 523i (N52) TOUR
Disconnect wire (1) from front retaining clip.
Guide sensor through opening in roofliner.
Note:
Proceed in the same way on the second sensor.
Pull off roofliner mucket in work area.
Important!
Do not kink roofliner under any circumstances.
Unclip and lower roofliner in rear area.
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Open retaining lugs (2) in direction of arrow and feed out module
for passenger compartment protection (3).
Disconnect wires (4) from rear retaining clips.
Remove module for passenger compartment protection (3).
Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding.
