Notes on removing and installing Low Profile
band clamps
Special tools required:
•
31 5 200
Important!
During removal Low Profile band clamp (dotted line) is
overstretched and must not be reused!
Removing:
Place special tool 31 5 200 on lugs (1, 2).
Note:
Make sure that the movable piece (3) of the special tool is placed
on lug (1).
Compress Low Profile band clamp with special tool
31 5 200
until end of band clamp (1) lifts up.
Relieve tension on special tool and remove Low Profile band
clamp.
