Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Support rear muffler with special tool 31 2 220 .
Note:
Illustrations show the left rear muffler, the same procedure applies
to the right rear muffler.
While installed, mark cutting line with aid of replacement muffler
on faulty rear muffler.
