Rear view of stripped front seat:

The contact surface of the inertia reel (1) must not show any
signs of deformation. Contact surface must be flat!

Retaining screw of inertia reel (2) must not show any signs of
deformation or cracks!

Thread must not be damaged!

Replace front seat if contact surface is deformed, and/or
deformation is identified in area of retaining screw of inertia reel.

Checking seat back for torsion/deformation:

Partially strip seat backs.

Rear view of stripped front seat:

Check surface of Y-plate (1) for deformation.

No dents, kinks or any other forms of damage should be
discernible.

Front view of stripped front seat (seat surface):

Check surface of Y-plate (1) for deformation.

No dents, kinks or any other forms of damage should be
discernible.

If deformation is visible, this points to seat back torsion.

The front seat must be replaced if there is evidence of
deformation.
