Removing and installing/replacing body
module
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove trim for instrument panel, bottom left
•
Detach airbag control unit with gateway module
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Unlock catches (3) in direction of arrow and remove body
module (2) from equipment carrier (4).
Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding.
