Adjusting convertible top compartment lid
Read contents of Body, General.
The E64 gap dimensions serve as the basis for adjustment work.
Note:
Following components must be correctly fitted and adjusted:
-
Rear lid
-
Convertible top compartment locks
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear water gutter trim
Important!
Only open convertible top compartment lid and rear lid
individually.
Risk of damage!
Adjusting hinges:
Open rear lid.
Slacken nuts (1).
Adjust convertible top compartment lid (2) in longitudinal
direction.
Tighten down nuts (1).
Tightening torque 51 17 2AZ
.
Note:
Height adjustment of convertible top compartment lid to side
panels by means of spacer plates.
Close rear lid.
