6 Series E64 645Ci (N62) CONVER
Feed in special tool 51 3 057 behind top edge of cover (1) and
pass along edge towards front and rear. Press tool/cover edge
upwards towards outside (above all in area of engaged retaining
lugs (2)).
Remove cover to side slightly.
Disconnect plug connection.
Remove cover.
Installation:
Retaining lugs and tabs must not be damaged, replace cover if
necessary.
Do not crush plug when fitting cover.
Replacement of actuating unit only:
Raise tabs (1) slightly and detach actuating unit (2).
Installation:
Tabs and catches of actuating unit must not be damaged.
Replacement of lumbar support switch only:
Press catches (1) on left/right to one side and
remove switch (2).
