Removing and installing/replacing front left or
right structural tension strut
Special tools required:
•
00 9 120
Important!
Observe safety instructions for raising the vehicle.
Driving with the front structural tension struts removed may
result in damage to the body!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear underbody protection
•
Partially detach underbody panelling
Release screws (1 and 2).
Remove structural tension strut (3).
Installation:
Replace screws (1).
Tighten down screws (1) and then retighten to angle of rotation
using special tool 00 9 120 .
Tightening torque 51 61 2AZ
