Removing and installing/replacing convertible
top module
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove luggage compartment floor trim
•
Disconnect battery negative lead and cover
•
Remove side trim panel upper section at rear left
Release screws (1).
Remove convertible top module (2) with retaining plate upwards
from side panel opening (3).
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.
Unscrew nuts (3).
Remove convertible top module (4) from retaining plate (5).
