Replacing electric motor on hydraulic pump
(GS7S47BG SMG)
Important!
Before working on hydraulic system:
-
Reduce pressure in hydraulic system by means of
Service Functions in DIS Tester (Replacement and
Repair)
-
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Important!
After replacing electric motor on hydraulic pump:
-
Perform bleeding procedure for clutch slave cylinder
only, refer to Service Functions in DIS Tester
-
"Bleeding actuator block" test module does not have to
be carried out
-
Check fluid level in hydraulic system by means of DIS
Tester "Service Functions"
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove underbody protection at front and rear
•
Remove reinforcement plate
•
Remove complete exhaust system
•
Remove heat shield at front and rear
•
Remove transmission cross-member.
•
Remove propeller shaft
•
Lower transmission
Disconnect connector (1).
Release cable tie (2).
Installation:
Use high-temperature-resistant cable ties (approx. 140
°
).
