Situation:
In certain function sequences, the use of remote control systems for vehicle access, remote
opening and remote closing can result in systems unexpectedly triggering and in
misinterpreted commands, leading to complaints.
Procedure:
Previously known cases of such complaints are described in the following enclosures.
Causes are assigned to the individual cases along with any measures or actions that may
be necessary.
Enclosure 1: Self-locking
Enclosure 2: Problem with range
Enclosure 3: Selective unlocking
Enclosure 4: Convenience entry / convenience opening
Enclosure 5: Remote control failed / poor radio reception
Enclosure 6: Self-opening
