Removing and installing/sealing or replacing
timing case cover at bottom (M60)

Special tools required:

00 9 190

Remove engine.

Secure engine to special tool 00 1 450.

Remove both cylinder heads. This operation is described in the
section "Removing left/right cylinder head".

Remove water pump with thermostat housing.

Remove upper oil sump section.

Remove hub for vibration damper.

Unfasten lower timing case cover.

RA  Removing and installing/sealing or replacing timing case cover at bottom (M60)
