7 Series E38 725tds (M51) SAL
Unfasten screws and lift up oil pan.
Installation:
Sealing faces clean and free of seal debris.
Replace seal.
Fit gasket to oil pan or engine block and apply a bead of Drei
Bond 1209 (refer to BMW Parts Service) flexible sealing
compound to recesses at front and back: bead should be
approx. 3 mm wide and 2 mm high.

Install oil pan
2.
Install all oil pan screws
3.
Fit screws in transmission end without preload
4.
Tighten down screws at engine end
5.
Tighten down screws at transmission end
