Note:
Sound insulation of instrument panel trim is secured to
ventilation ducts with hot-melt adhesive material.
Mark installation position of relevant sound insulation of
instrument panel trim.
Carefully detach sound insulation of instrument panel trim on left
and right from ventilation ducts.
Identify part number of sound insulation of instrument panel trim.
Part number is located in area (1).
Recondition sound insulation for instrument panel trim with Part
No. 51 48 8174821, in direction of travel, left, in accordance with
following instructions:
At distance of (A) = 25 mm, mark a cutting line (1) over entire
surface.
At distance of (A) = 25 mm, mark a cutting line (1) of length (B) =
80 mm.
