7 Series E38 728i (M52TU) SAL
Installation:
Pay attention to correct position of ITS head airbag in bracket
of front grab handle.
Both retaining clips (2) of bracket for front grab handle (1) must lie
over ITS head airbag (3).
Caution!
The retaining clips (2) may have no sharp edges in the area of
the ITS head airbag!
Danger of damage to the ITS head airbag!
Replace bracket for front grab handle if necessary.
Unfasten screws (1 and 2).
Push bracket on B-pillar upwards (3).
Remove bracket on B-pillar towards front (4).
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 12 3AZ.
During installation, ensure proper seating of retaining lugs in
body.

ITS head airbag
Unfasten screws (1 and 2).
Pull out pins (3 and 4).
Remove bracket of rear grab handle.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to 72 12 3AZ.
During installation, ensure proper seating of clips (5) in body.
