7 Series E38 728i (M52TU) SAL
Installation:
Pay attention to correct position of ITS head airbag in bracket
of rear grab handle.
Both retaining clips (2) of bracket for rear grab handle (1) must lie
over ITS head airbag (3).
Caution!
The retaining clips (2) may have no sharp edges in the area of
the ITS head airbag!
Danger of damage to the ITS head airbag!
Replace bracket for rear grab handle if necessary.
L7 only:
Release screws for additional steel bracket in front of C-pillar
retaining screw.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 12 5AZ.
Unfasten mounting bolt on C-pillar (1).
Note:
Bolt is held in end fitting (2) by retaining disk.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 12 4AZ.
Remove ITS head airbag.
