7 Series E38 728i (M52TU) SAL
Lift off cover.
Unfasten retaining screws on torque converter (3 screws) with
special tool 24 1 110.
Installation:
Only use original screws.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 40 1AZ.
Protect torque converter from slipping out. To do this, insert
special tool 24 4 131/ 24 4 134 in opening of transmission
housing and clamp torque converter in place.
Unfasten screws.
Pull transmission of engine towards rear and lower.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 00 1AZ.
