7 Series E38 728i (M52TU) SAL
Removing traction strut from front axle support.
Installation:
Fit washer (1) and replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 31 12 12AZ.
Unfasten stabilizer push rod - brace with open-end wrench.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 31 35 5AZ.
Lift up cap.
If applicable, disconnect plug connection on Electronic Damper
Control and remove cap from cable.
Support spring strut shock absorber.
Remove spring strut shock absorber thrust bearing from wheel
arch.
RA Removing and installing complete left or right spring strut shock absorber
