Procedure:
The inspecting person is inside the car and the
car door is closed.
Starting from interior, run test aid along contact surface of hose
seal between door frame and hose seal and check contact of
hose seal.
It should not be too easy to pull out the test aid in the headliner
area between A-pillar and B-pillar.
The test aid must show "resistance" when pulled out.
If necessary, replace hose seal or readjust door seam to which
hose seal is attached.
Note:
Excessive readjustment of the seam will result in excessive
door closing forces!
