Removing and installing / replacing
transmission for rear seat backrest (normal/
electric)
Removing drive unit for rear seat backrest adjustment,
refer to 67 31 650
Unfasten screws and remove transmission (1) with input shaft (2).
Installation:
Move backrest adjustment as far back as possible. Install
input gear (1) on detent setting in gear segment (2).
Where applicable, twist input shaft until transmission can be
installed in detent position.
Drive through expanding rivet (1).
Lift off housing cover (2) and remove.
