7 Series E38 728i (M52TU) SAL
Release screw (1) with special tool 61 6 010 .
Installation:
Clean Loctite residue off thread.
Replace screw (1) and insert with Loctite.
Tightening torque, 61 61 10AZ
Caution!
Do not bend windshield wiper arm when removing it (risk of
breakage!).
Release nut (2) with special tool 61 6 010 . Detach windshield
wiper arm with special tool 61 6 060 .
Installation:
Tightening torque, 61 61 10AZ
Installation:
Insert screw (1) against tappet (3) until specified dimension (A)
between contact pressure adjustment lever (2) and wiper
arm (4) is achieved.
The nut can be tightened better by pressing down the wiper arm
gently on the windshield.
Specified dimension A = 1.3 mm
Passenger side:
Remove caps.
