Align the template (1) as shown in the illustration with the conical arbor (2) and mark
the position for the new bracket.
5.
Hold the new bracket (1) at the marked position and weld into place. When doing
this, make sure that sufficient distance is maintained from the adjacent fuel lines.
6.
Slide the previously removed fuel metering pump into the rubber mount.
7.
Fit new hoses to both sides of the fuel metering pump.
8.
Reapply primer, underseal and cavity coating to the worked areas.
9.
Slide the fuel metering pump (1) with the rubber mount into the bracket (2) until the
SI Knocking noises when auxiliary heater is operating E38/M57, M67 E39 M47, M57
