7 Series E38 730d (M57) SAL
Unscrew bolt (1).
Caution!
Do not remove oil measuring tube. Engine oil emerges.
Turn oil measuring tube a little to one side.
Unfasten nut (2).
Tightening torque,
refer to 12 51 3AZ
.
Detach positive terminal upwards from manifold.
Release screws (1).
Remove acoustic cover (2) at front.
Lift off acoustic cover.
Caution!
The air duct can brake at the firewall if not carefully removed
and installed.
Release retaining clips (1).
Carefully turn air duct (2) counterclockwise until it is no longer
locked in firewall.
Pull air duct forwards and remove towards top.
