7 Series E38 730d (M57) SAL
Installation:
Replace damaged seal plugs without fail. Clip in three seal
plugs (1) from above.
Release screws (1).
Installation:
Apply a light coat of copper paste (CRC) to screw threads (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data, 11 65 1AZ
.
Release clamp (1).
Pull off hose.
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove turbocharger (3) downwards.
Installation:
-
Convert return and oil lines as required to new
turbocharger.

Replace all gaskets.
-
Clean sealing face on exhaust manifold.
-
Replace gasket for turbocharger.
