Special tools required:

Important!
When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, protect the
alternator against contamination.
Cover alternator with suitable materials.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an
alternator malfunction.
Important!
Check H.P. pump and pressure regulator before checking
injectors.
For procedure, refer to Troubleshooting on common rail
system at excessively low pressure.
Important!
To prevent engine from starting, disconnect plug (1) from
camshaft pulse generator.
