Removing and installing/replacing rotation
rate sensor DSC3 from 09/98
Note:
Remove driver's seat.
Remove entrance cover strip at front inside.
After replacing the rotation-rate sensor, carry out an
adjustment of the rotation-rate sensor and the transversal
acceleration sensor with DIS (Diagnosis and Information
System) under the menu item "Service functions".
The rotation-rate sensor from 09/98 contains the function of
the transversal acceleration sensor.
Lift floor trim panel and fold to one side.
Unlock plug connection (1) and detach.
Release screws (2) and remove rotation-rate sensor (3).
Installation:
Ensure proper locking of the plug connector.
