7 Series E38 730d (M57) SAL
Align partial replacement piece with straightening attachment (1)
and plug weld.
Weld engine carrier in welding joint.
Grind down and clean welded seam and welded spots.
Clean connection faces between engine support and wheel arch
on new bracket for drier flask and coat with zinc dust paint.
Secure drier flask bracket to engine support and wheel arch and
weld into place.
Tin out and grind joint until it is smooth.
RA Replacing right engine carrier (partial replacement in front of front axle)
