Removing and installing / replacing both seat
rails on left or right front seat (normal /
manual)
Remove front seat,
refer to 52 13 000
Remove seatbelt tensioner,
refer to 72 11 030
Remove Bowden cable for longitudinal adjustment,
refer to 52 13 014
Unfasten clips from rubber belt (1).
Installation:
Lock new retainer by bending it with special tool 52 0 050.
Only replace:
Unscrew inside finisher upwards (1) (unclip), lift centre (2)
upwards and pull off forwards (3).
Only passenger side:
Remove detent for left / right longitudinal seat adjustment (4).
Only replace:
Unscrew screw. Lift outer finisher backwards/ upwards and pull off
forwards.
