Removing and installing complete wiper
console
Remove fresh air duct,
refer to 64 31 050.
Remove wiper arms,
refer to 61 61 100.
Lift engine hood into assembly position.
Unhook both dampers on engine hood. Open engine hood
completely. Secure hinges with a screw.
Unfasten screws and lift off cover.
Actuate wipers for brief period and switch off ignition to cause the
engine to come to a standstill outside its rest position. Disconnect
plug connection. If the wiper motor is defective, remove lever (1)
and twist linkages in order to gain access to the screws (2).
Installation:
Observe tightening torque,
refer to 61 61 4AZ.
Unfasten screws (2 and 3) and lift off wiper console.
Installation:
Observe tightening torque,
refer to 61 61 6AZ.
