Removing and installing/replacing pressure
sensor for DSC
Special tools required:
•
34 5 160
Note:
Before beginning work:
•
Switch off ignition.
•
Protect brake system against unauthorized actuation.
After completing work:
•
Purge front axle circuit.
•
Check pressure sensor under pressure for leaks.
•
Pressure sensor check by DSC system: Turn on ignition and
firmly depress brake pedal. Warning lamps must not come on
any more.
Unlock plug connection (1) and detach.
Detach pressure sensor (2) with special tool 34 5 160 .
Installation:
•
Check sealing surfaces and thread of pressure sensor and of
hydraulic unit for damage.
•
Screw in a new pressure sensor immediately after
unscrewing the old pressure sensor.
•
Tightening torque 34 51 2AZ.
