7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Caution!
To prevent damage to airbag coil spring in steering column:
After completing work, remove steering wheel and center
airbag coil spring.
Remove and install steering wheel,
refer to 32 33 000.
Release steering spindle on steering gear.
These tasks are described in the repair instructions for Removing
and installing complete front axle,
refer to 31 10 000.
Release nuts (1) on engine mount on left and right.
Release screw (1) on automatic transmission.
Detach ATF lines (2).
Installation:
Replace O-rings if damaged.
