7 Series E38 740i (M60-2) SAL
Fit special tool 11 2 390 on crankshaft.
Coat sealing lip of radial sealing ring with oil.
Slide on end cover.
Carefully remove special tool 11 2 390.
Bores to oil chamber closed:
Check length of screws. Install and tighten all screws.
Bores to oil chamber open:
Do not use screws with hex head in conjunction with sealing
washers.
Fit new screws (1) with Torx head. Replace the sealing washers
under the screws (1). Install and tighten all screws.
