Removing and installing intake air manifold
(M60)
Follow instructions for connecting/disconnecting battery,
refer to General Information, MG12
Disconnect negative battery lead.
Unfasten engine section of wiring harness from intake air manifold
and place to one side with cable ducts,
refer to 12 51 001
Unfasten tank venting hose from throttle body.
Disconnect Bowden cables for throttle valve actuation. If
necessary, remove throttle valve,
refer to 13 54 060
Caution!
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Remove fuel supply and return lines on injection pipe.
Note instructions on removal and installation of fuel hoses and
hose clips,
refer to 13 53 540
