7 Series E38 740i (M62) SAL
Draw out and cut the trunk floor replacement part and the joint
surfaces connection for the side member partial replacement
piece.
Caution!
Note the measurement for the offset!
Dimension A = 100 mm - offset dimension
Set off trunk floor replacement part joint surface side member.
Fit the trunk floor.
On trunk floor, mark out holes for plug welding on connection point
of crossmember.
Remove trunk floor.
Drill the holes for the plug welding on joint surface of
crossmember.
Clean joint surfaces of the replacement part and coat with zinc
dust paint.
Coat connection faces of vehicle with zinc dust paint.
Install and fasten the trunk floor.
Weld trunk floor to spare wheel well and lower crossmember.
