Replacing wooden finishers for storage tray
(centre console)

Remove centre console:

Remove panel for preselector lever,

refer to 51 16 210

Removing and installing fresh air grill in rear compartment,

refer to 64 22 190

Unclip finisher (rear oddments tray) over rear (1) and front (2)
apertures.

Remove screws (1 ... 2).

Disconnect plugs (3 ... 4). Unlock connector housing (5) (if
necessary after removal of the center console) and remove. 

Note:

When dismantling the center console, do not damage the
wooden finisher.

Lift center console (6) forwards and upwards to remove.

Unfasten screws and pull wooden finisher on oddments tray
(center) forwards to remove.

Unfasten connector (1) (and wooden finisher) and pull connector
holder (2) of complete wiring harness backwards.
