Replacing arm (positioner) for sunroof lid
Installation:
Before installing guide components, apply light coat of
Renax GL1 (Fuchs) grease to guide duct.
Removing sunroof lid,
see 54 12 100
Unfasten left / right screws and remove covers (1).
Important!
Sliding/tilting sunroof cassette with a damaged thread must be
replaced.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 54 12 1AZ
Run sunroof mechanism in stages (carefully) up to installation
aperture and remove slide (1) on left/right from guide duct.
If applicable, run back using the emergency operator.
Unfasten left / right retainers.
Disconnect left / right linkages.
