Set of mounting blocks for windscreen mounting
E38, E39
Situation:
The assembly procedure for the bonded windscreen has been modified in order to avoid
damage.
Special hard foam blocks are necessary for the purpose of tensioning the windscreen.
Refer to Enclosure 1.
These blocks are specially adapted to this assembly procedure and, thanks to their flexible
properties, they prevent damage to the windscreen (e.g. scratches).
Self-made blocks or cubes must not be used.
Procedure:
The set of mounting blocks is supplied automatically in compliance with existing tool supply
agreements.
