Removing and installing / replacing pedal
travel sensor (M62)
Switch off ignition.
Remove lower trim from instrument panel.
Connect DIS Tester.
Measure voltage at PWG potentiometer with DIS Tester.
Technical data:

Pedal travel sensor in idle position:
≤
0.8 V
2.
Pedal travel sensor in full throttle position: 3.7 V to 4.15 V
3.
Kickdown: 4.35 V to 4.55 V
Note:
Operate accelerator pedal by hand to prevent a distortion of
the measured values.
Location: The pedal travel sensor (1) is fitted to the pedal block.
Unscrew and remove control module (1) from bracket.
Release screws (2) and remove bracket.
