Removing and installing or replacing left or
right traction strut
Caution!
Pressure rod bearings must always be installed or replaced in
pairs.
Unscrew and remove splash guard.
Remove traction strut.
Installation:
Install disc (1). Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 31 12 13AZ
Unfasten nut.
Press off ball joint with special tool 31 2 240.
Installation:
Ball stud and bore free of grease.
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 31 12 12AZ.
