Checking function of level control pump

Check oil level,

refer to 32 13 006.

After completion of function check, oil level must be
checked once again.

Remove splash guard.

Unfasten line (3) to control valve on the power steering pump.

Installation:

Replace gaskets. Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 32 41 3AZ.

Prepare special tool 32 4 000 or 54 3 100.

1 = Pump connection

2 = Connection for line to control valve

Attach special tool 37 2 021 / 022 and install between pump and
line.
