Adjusting door window glass, front left or
right (Protection)
Remove sound insulation/protective mat,
refer to 51 48 ...
If necessary, remove protective mat,
refer to 51 41 ...
Connect toggle switch for power window to plug connection of
door wiring harness.
Connect battery negative lead.
Lower door window down to stop.
Slacken clamping jaw (1) at rear and clamping screw (2) at front.
Longitudinal adjustment:
Slide door window in open clamp jaws in longitudinal direction.
Vertical adjustment (parallelism):
Lift rear clamping jaw (door window must locate in lower jaws at
this point) and tighten down screw. Tighten front clamping screw.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 51 32 2AZ.
