Removing and installing or replacing positive
battery wire (between alternator and positive
battery support point on cylinder head cover)

Observe safety instructions for handling vehicle battery.
Instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery,
refer to General Information MG 12.
Switch off ignition.
Remove battery negative line.
Remove complete left intake filter housing,
refer to 13 71 010.
Unfasten nut.
Unfasten screws. Remove positive battery terminal with bracket.
