Removing and installing/replacing 3/2-way
valve (M62, M73)
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Switch off ignition.
E38: Front underbody cover on right side
Release screws and clips. Remove cover (1).
E39:Front underbody cover on left side
Loosen screws (1).
Press cover (2) on underbody towards bottom.
Seal off all fuel hoses with special tools 13 3 010.
