Note:
If an airbag module with 4 retaining tabs is replaced with an
airbag module with 3 retaining tabs, it is necessary to observe
the following:
the adapter lead is omitted (lead is firmly attached to airbag
module),
remove the nut retainer for the 4th retaining screw (risk of
rattling noises),
touch up any damage to paint,
seal the opening in the sound insulation for the 4th retaining
screw that is no longer required so as to prevent moisture
from entering the door trim panel.
